Wirenboard developes and produces electronics for industrial and home automation under the brand name Wiren Board. Wirenboard provides reliable multimeters which enable you to measure a bunch of parameters of supply line (single phase or three phase). Reliable Wiren Board controllers are used in cases of monitoring server and climate equipment, dispatching and collecting data from metering devices, as the main device for the smart home.

Device preparation

Make sure RTU connection between the power meter and boS server is established, check the device's manual for any additional connection settings. Blocks with "True" in name contain calculated data to use in visualization. Please note that some parts of the manuals are in Russian.

Configuration

Download the example from our website and import it into your configuration. Step by step instructions on how to import are available in our instructional video.

In this example is used Wirenboard WB-MCM8, 8-channel counter which can count pulses, thus enabling integration on different meters (gas, water and so on). It can also serve as module with discrete inputs for pushbuttons, smoke detectors etc. A number of Modbus variables added to example are enabling you to change port settings, address of device, reset counters and monitor inputs states.
